WTHI-TV'S FORK IN THE ROAD BBQ COMPETITION

Join us for the WTHI-TV's Fork in the Road BBQ Competition on September 28th, 2024, at The Mill! Doors open at 1pm for the public and 12:30pm for VIP guests. Enjoy delicious BBQ and cast your vote for the People's Choice Award!

Competition Details

Compete for cash prizes in five categories: ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and sides. To be eligible for the $2,500 grand prize, contestants must enter all categories. Judging begins at 9am, and winners will be announced at the 4pm awards ceremony. Sampling is included with your ticket.

Registration and Setup

Register by September 1st, 2024, and pay a $100 entry fee. Contestants will be contacted for setup times on a first-come, first-served basis. Smokers must be in place between 8am and 11pm on September 27th and removed by 10am on September 29th.

Entry Requirements

To compete for the grand prize, contestants must provide minimum quantities of meat and sides.

 

 Category winners receive $1,000 for first place, $300 for second, and $200 for third. The People's Choice Award winner receives $500.
